Yes, it’s completely true. Frank Lampard has signed a deal with Watford.

New Hornets’ manager Brendan Rogers has decided to bring Lampard at any price, pointing out that his presence would be of extreme importance for his team. Rogers succeeded in his intention and Frank is now at Vicarage Road.

Lampard has thus closed the circle of London clubs: he was in West Ham working with Harry Redknapp, then in Chelsea with Jose Mourinho and Luiz Felipe Scolari, and now is with Watford.

Bradley Orr

It has happened again, another great footballer is transfer-listed by his club. Last season’s best right-back in the Championship, Bristol City’s Bradley Orr, didn’t agree the terms of the new contract with his club and will probably look for new surroundings in January.

Orr hasn’t been in the first team for a longer time, and the ones not familiar with the right reasons might say Bristol manager Gary Johnson’s decision is peculiar. First of all, it is one quality winger who is at the same time quick, great shooter and is doing an excellent job swinging the ball in (like all English backs). He is also able to score both by left or his right foot, and is doing a great job in defense. He stays remembered by his brilliant performances in last year’s play-off semifinals and finals.

Zoran Tosic against Bosingwa

Now we can officialy say that you read it first. A couple of days ago we have launched news that Manchester United agreed a fee for Serbian international Zoran Tosic. Just a couple of hours later, United scout Budimir Vujacic and Partizan director Ivan Tomic, both denied that they even spoke about any of Partizan’s players. As we said, it was pretty weird since we could not remember that United denied any similar rumor.

Now it is official. ManUtd.com just announced that they have secured work permit for Zoran Tosic.

Former Atletico Madrid star and Liverpool striker, Fernando Torres believes that English Premier League is superior competition to Spanish Primera. He said that it is more difficult to win points against smaller teams in England. Great pitches, fantastic crowd and rivals that want to play attractive football are things which make English Premier League the most competitive football league in the world. And it’s true.

But, the fact that English teams scored only three goals in the last round of the Champions League and that big four didn’t score a single goal the week before in domestic championship, tells me about possible changes in EPL. Obviously, some outside influences have changed the football style I always preferred. Maybe the rhythm is the same, but result is in the first place. Paulo Sousa

We already wrote that QPR needs new manager. New “smart thing” QPR owner, Flavio Briatore, said is that the new manager of the London team will be ex-Portugal cap and coach-rookie, Paulo Sousa.

You would certainly remember Sousa as the brilliant defensive midfielder famous for his long crosses wearing Benfica, Sporting, Juventus and Borusia Dortmund’s shirts. Playing for Juve, he was crowned Champions League winner in 1996 and he was the member of famous Portuguese national team made of Figo, Joao Pinto, Rui Costa and others. He had an early end to his career, when he was 31 years old, due to his numerous injuries putting him down too early. He coached Portuguese U-15 squad and is currently one of the assistant coaches with the senior national team.

Word is that all terms are agreed, and that the west London club’ owner and Formula 1 magnate, Flavio Briatore, has got everything prepared for Sousa to come at Rangers’ helm.

Dave Jones

Peter Whittingham joined the rest of Cardiff City regulars after the Crystal Palace match they won 2-1. Reliable midfielder and ex-Aston Villa player injured his ligaments and will be sidelined for at least three months. Manager Dave Jones is faced with a pile of problems and will have trouble staying in the promotion race Welshmen have been successfully running from the beginning of the season with currently sixth place.

Almost all of Blue Birds’ regulars are having injury problems. Team’s first star, young midfielder targeted by many Premiership outfits, Joe Ledley, has broken his finger and will be out for at least a month. Attacking duo, Ross McCormack (league’s top scorer with 11 goals) and Jay Boothroyd haven’t been playing for two months, both of them due to long-term groin and knee injuries.
