Alex Song fully deserved red card against Croatia. This is not the first red card for Song family at World Cup. Not even a second.

It looks like Song family has serious problem to stay on the field for 90 minutes in World Cup games.

Alex Song fully deserved red card for his kick in the back of Croatian Mario Mandzukic.

It is interesting that he is not the first Song family member who deserved red card on World Cup. His cousin Rigobert Song (former Liverpool FC player) is the first one who collected two red cards on the World Cup games.

He deserved first one at 1994 World Cup in the game against Brasil as 17 years old boy. Four years later, he deserved one against Chile. He was the only player in the history with two red cards on the World Cup. Later Zinedine Zidan joined the club (in 2006.).
