His team lost Champions League semis to Red Devils and when you would expect Nicklas and all of other Gunners to go to bed and cry themselves to sleep, young Dane had a different idea how to get over the big loss.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning after the aggregate 4-1 loss to reigning European Champions, Manchester United, Nicklas Bendtner was photographed being forced out from a London nightclub. It seems he wanted to drink his sorrow and the mentioned photo had him seemingly soaked. When he came to his senses, being completely aware of what he has done, young Arsenal striker offered his unreserved apology to everyone who loves the London club. Young and mad that’s what they all are…
In his statement, Nicklas explained how big his love for the club was and how sorry he felt for letting the fans down. He said he was disappointed for losing to Manchester United and seeing his biggest dream shattering in front of his eyes made him feel devastated… well, a good way to show it mate…
He should definitely apologize, but there are also several other things he should feel sorry for… first of all, I think he should apologize for those pink boots he wore for few games before Nike Company realized that he was a disgrace on the turf running around the green having everyone laughing at him. Pink boots are meant to be worn by big, established players and young Dane is far away from becoming one. Nike even went on to publicly apologize for letting him wear them… When Ron wears them, it is definitely OK since they only put an extra touch on his magic moves, but this lad… definitely not. Another thing he should be sorry for are his performances. But still, this may not be entirely his fault. Arsene Wenger may be a huge expert in the game and he had undoubtedly revealed so many young talents in his days, but it seems that this time he had made a mistake. Whenever he put him on from the bench expecting the young striker to make a difference you can bet Arsenal will not win the game. Arsene’s wish to built a young team he could rely on in the years to come is an excellent idea, but this boy will add nothing to Gunners‘ game.
Manchester United have proved their dominance over Premiership rivals, they are deservedly in the finals, booking their ticket to Rome on Tuesday evening. They will take on Barcelona in what will definitely be a game of the season and a real treat for everyone who enjoys top soccer. Arsenal have enjoyed a successful campaign until they ran into a wall, but it is so obvious they have a long way to go… but behaving the way he did is no way for a professional player to show he is sorry for losing a game. I just wonder what those poor Chelsea fellows should do after their painful elimination to Barcelona?
