Latest proof for that is the young cap, Michael Mancienne, who is absolutely brilliant with Championship top’s Wolverhampton Wanderers. Mancienne is a talented 20-year-old central defender, Chelsea player loaned to Wolves this autumn. He had spent last two seasons playing for QPR, having a fine spell with them. The beginning of this season saw him kicking off with his parent club but coach Scolari didn’t give him the right chance.
Having been dispensable with his club, he was loaned to Wolves where he was paired with Richard Stearman in the defense and the two of them are making a real, impenetrable back line wall. Stuart Pearce’s valuable asset in his U-21 squad, the lad got his chance to prove his worth playing with A team in the friendly Albion have played against Germany. Youngster is now given a great chance to set off the right way his teammate, Theo Walcott, did since he got the right chance at the right time and the boy is now one of the best young players in Europe.
Fabio Cappelo certainly knows what he is doing, and we can freely say that he had started molding the appropriate successor for Blues’ John Terry and this boy will certainly become a valuable asset for English national team. Similarly to the start of 2006/2007 season, Mancienne didn’t get the right chance with Chelsea this fall, but experienced Mick McCarthy had a real feeling. He had put him under the spotlights and the lad repaid him greatly. Interestingly enough, Mancienne had the right to play for the national team of Seychelles due to his father’s family line, but he rejected the call accepting Stuart Pearce’s to play for England U-21.
Because of him and ten more regulars that are absent due to their national duties, Wolves’ manager, Mick McCarthy, goes to bed every night praying for their health. The ones disturbing his sleep, making him rolling over in bed are Carlos Edwards (playing a World Cup Qualifier for Trinidad and Tobago), Michael Kightly, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Richard Stearman (capping for England U-21 against Czech Rrepublic at Bramall Lane), Chris Iwelumo (playing for Scotland against Maradona’s Argentina), Wayne Hennessey, David Edwards and Sam Vokes (playing for Wales against Denmark), Andy Keogh and Kevin Foley (playing for Ireland against Poland).
Will they all return safe and sound, fit enough and ready for Championship’s next challenge? Considering most of the games are frendlies, it is possible, but it is still the number of 11 players, a whole team in front of injury risk, the team that will be tired of all the games and travels. But, that is what happens with the great club full of quality players…

Yeah, I agree with you. Nugent is one of the examples too. If the players are having a outstanding performance, they will be selected to represent England.
