Has the World gone mad, or what? The 6-year-old (yes, you heard it right) Madin Mohammed is being chased by the host of big European clubs and is touted the next Zinedine Zidane (aren’t they all these days?). European giants are looking for young talents everywhere but I am sure you haven’t heard them tracking a player of such a tender age. The Algerian-born kid can really do wonders on the pitch and it is remarkable to see him doing tricks at such a young age. Those of you who cannot believe that clubs like Chelsea and Real Madrid are chasing a six-year-old should check this video and think again.
Madin Mohammed moved to France with his family when he was three and has already received a scholarship from the French football federation. The whizz-kid is playing for the local club Roubaix at the moment and club’s president is astonished with Mohammed’s skills. The kid has already featured on French TV and the wider public has been acquainted with his talent. It will not be long before the big clubs start promising him and his family big money and everything that goes with it. Still, even though Mohammed is extremely talented for his age that doesn’t have to mean that he will develop into a world-class player. He is at least ten years from making it to first team football and who knows what can happen during that time. The boy should be let enjoy his football and should be shielded from media attention for as long as possible. For now, we can just enjoy seeing him do what he does best and hope that some ten years from now we will see his name in the roster of one of the true giants of European football.
