Mirko Vucinic says he wants to stay in Rome but he is prepared to sacrifice for the club if Roma need money from his transfer. However, the Montenegrin striker will not leave to any club prepared to meet the asking price and he definitely ruled out Tottenham as his next destination.
Mirko Vucinic has once again stated his ambition to remain at the club, but the reports from Italy suggest that Roma desperately need the money and may be forced to sell. The player is aware of the situation but in case Vucinic needs to leave, he will be the one choosing his next destination.
“Ok, if I need to sacrifice for Roma’s sake, I will leave the club. However, they cannot sell me against my will. I don’t want to join Tottenham, I don’t like it there”, stated the player.
“I repeat, if it’s up to me, I want to stay”, added Vucinic, who has recently signed a new deal at the club.
The only problem is that no other club is prepared match Tottenham’s offer, or at least not the ones like Manchester United, whose offer Vucinic would accept.
