Pavlyuchenko wants Tottenham exit?

Announced as a huge signing from Spartak Moscow, Roman really turned out to be a class striker landing in London on 1st, September, 2008 for a fee of £14 million. Juande Ramos hit a bull’s eye bringing the Russian international who has blossomed in Tottenham and both men had a special connection. When Juande Ramos had been criticized and on the verge of being sacked, which he later was, Roman Pavlyuchenko was one of the few men to laud the Spanish manager. Now, it seems he started feeling alone and abandoned and started criticizing everything that has to do with English ways.

Having joined Spurs about six months ago, Russian now admits he has not come to terms with English language, food and women! Annoyed forward also commented he has a tough job adapting to English ways both on and off the pitch saying that food in England, and especially at Tottenham training ground, is modest. On the pitch, Roman is concerned about rough tackles…tough-tackling defenders play harsh and the referees allow it which is not the case in Russia, he says. Welcome to England lad…

He seems to dislike English women too, and even had to fly over to Russia in order to solve two of his problems. Namely, his wife Larisa joined him in London, Pavlyuchenko claims she is a great cook so that problem is solved. What about women? I don’t think he will mention that problem again with his lady around…

As far as the game is concerned, we don’t think his wife will be able to help him there…I thought Russians were all tough and enduring lads, and not whining girls!?! I honestly believe there is a deeper problem sitting behind this all… I think that, after the departure of Juande and the arrival of good old patriot Harry Redknapp, Roman became concerned about his future with Spurs. Defoe is back, that is another problem for him and he is only trying to find excuses…

Maybe his reverse-psychology will have affect and make the board sell him this year, but if that is what he wants, if he is not pleased with his status in the club with the new manager, he shouldn’t be going around the bush making up stupid excuses, he should speak up his mind, we are all grown man, no need to act childish…
