The media in Czech Republic are predicting Sparta Prague’s striker Vaclav Kadlec a bright future and he is tipped to become the big star of Czech football. His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, with clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool already expressing interest in his services. Kadlec’s family is determined to keep him close to home for the time being but we will see what the future holds for the young striker.
16-year-old Kadlec started his career at Bohemians and he soon started showing a lot of potential. He was superior to his teammates and he often played with boys older than him. It did not take him a lot of time top get noticed and he spent some time on trial at Liverpool when he was 15, but his parents wanted him to stay close to home until he develops as both player and a person. Sparta Prague seized their chance and they snatched him for the fee thought to be 400,000 euros, which was a lot of money to pay for such a young player. Kadlec quickly adapted and became the member of the first team set-up at Sparta. The striker made three substitute appearances for the club this season, while he scored a goal in the friendly against Austria Wien.
Czech Under-19 player is a very quick attacker, who has a great eye for the goal and he is already showing signs of a killer instinct. He is very complete player and very good in one-on-one situations. Kadlec needs to build on his strength but there is still plenty of time for him to develop fully. He is thought to be a very modest person, but he is very confident on the pitch and has all the components to become the future star of Czech national team. Chelsea are the latest club to have shown interest in his services but Kadlec will not leave his native country at least for a couple of more years.
