Giants are cruising across South America looking for promising youngsters. Learning on the examples of many, they discovered it could me more profitable to find a pearl, to bring it in youth school rather than to wait for those young pearls earn their football name and dig deep in the wallet to sign them. Many of those kids never live up the hype, still no one cares about it, since one of ten make it to the senior squad.
Last pearl in the necklace of wonderful kids everyone is talking about is young Brazilian, Sidcley Ferreira Perreira, a 15-year-old who has already made it to the senior squad. Same as many of those boys, this one was born in Espirito Santo, suburb of Rio. “Timao” as many people call him is regular Corinthians’ youth squad member, but the illustrious club is already pushing him in the first team, partly in order to force him into signing a kind of committing contract.
Current contract can be bought off quite cheap and his services are available for less than a million Euros and no wonder so many clubs are circling him. Sidcley was first discovered by Real Madrid’s scouts, but then through Dino Sani, former player and now scout, Milan is seriously getting on Merenguesi’s way.
Nothing is decided yet, Sidcley’s agent, Franck Assuncao, who is responsible for a majority of young Brazilian caps. And of course, each interested party will have to talk to him first. Still, European giants could find themselves ruled out of race by Brazilian clubs who are convinced that kid’s family might opt to keep their talented kid in homeland for a few more years.
Sidcley is playing as an attacking-midfielder, forward with excellent left foot, similar type of player like Robinho. We should mention that he is of fragile posture, but bear in mind he isn’t 16 yet and will definitely work on that when he goes to some big club.
Many pundits expect Manchesteer United to join the race for the lad since Red Devils have already had some excellent buys in South America. In case he arrives to Old Trafford, Sidcley will have bright examples of Posebon, brothers Rafael and Fabio to follow since all of these players had arrived to England young and their careers are developing great.
