Inter officials are willing to wait until the next summer and then sign Goran Pandev on free transfer. That move would see Pandev return to his first club in Italy after six years at Lazio. The player has been left out of the squad that traveled to the Super Cup game in China, what is seen as the disciplinary measure by president Lotito.
The Italian adventure for Goran Pandev could continue where it had started, at Inter. As ‘Corriere dello Sport’ states, Inter are keen on the Macedonian forward and the player could return to Giuseppe Meazza once his contract expires next June.
Lotito has already threatened Pandev that he would be benched unless he accepts to join the clubs Lazio were offering him but the president is simply asking too much money for the player. Lotito wants €19 million, but he could easily stay without the player and money as Pandev’s contract is due to expire in year’s time.
The player is unwilling to sign a new deal with the club and is likely to leave the club next summer, when he will be able to choose from the number of offers with Inter being just on of the interested clubs.
