Milan’s pre-season training starts today and the fans are angry with the club for selling Kaka, but also for not signing new players. It is now clear that neither Kaka will be adequately replaced nor the team are going to be rebuilt.
One of the most influential players in the team Massimo Ambrosini admitted the team were weaker than last season and new boss Leonardo faces a tough task since many experts predict Milan third-place finish at best.
Berlusconi begs to disagree.
“We have the best team in Italy. Even if we fail to bring any new players, we are still extremely strong in all positions. Nobody in Italy have a better squad than us, not even Inter. I predict great things for this team and the fans needn’t worry”, said Berlusconi at the start of the pre-season training and thus showed a complete lack of a sense of reality.
